30 Days of Beauty – day 23

Quiet. Only 10 minutes. And I didn’t realise until later how much that meant to me.  10 minutes by myself with a tea.

Can you recognize beauty when it happens?

30 Days of Beauty – day 22

A flock of birds spread out in an elongated shape rather than all bunched up, flew over the highway as we crawled along and it looked like tears running across the pavement.

Can you find beauty in glimpse in unexpected places?

30 Days of Beauty – day 21

Ok, this one was really, really, really hard.  The biggest challenge was not being able to remember most of this day despite actually getting sleep the previous night…  I’m going to have to go with movement. I took time out to do my yoga exercises that double as my physiotherapy exercises and felt my body stretch and move. That is a joyous feeling all in its own.

Is exercise just a chore?

30 Days of Beauty – day 20

Oh my!!! Only 10 days to go!  I wasn’t sure about this posting but let’s see what you think. Today beauty is my soft bed. After being drop dead tired, eyes burning, walking around half asleep, the moment I slip into bed and pull the covers up is magic.

What gives you comfort?

A teensy, tiny yellow bird zooming through green cedars.

Has anything caught your eye lately?

30 Days of Beauty – day 18

I watched a dog today. His owner was sitting having coffee and had 2 terriers. The one off leash was incredibly cute, but more than that, the owner allowed him to amble about. He roamed quite slowly to nearby tables and if someone wanted to pet him, that was ok.  If not, that was ok too, on to the next table.

Do you trust your pet so well ?

30 Days of Beauty – day 17

Testing your limits. I reached for a musical note with my voice and hit it – another type of beauty – then I reached for another one and another one until my voice broke – that’s where I will push next time.

What have you tried with your talents?

30 Days of Beauty – day 16

Today was a hard one.

Comfort – I get mine from that first cup of tea of the day to centre my mind and focus my thoughts.

Halfway through my 30 days – what is your beauty today?

Moving as one with my horse. When I ask for something and he understands right away, it’s like the perfect partnership. Just pure harmony.

The joy in a dog’s body after a good shake to get rid of the water. You can practically see the smile on his face.
